CAMPER MODIFICATION

We added 2 ammo box to our back bumper to hold some black tank items. We have disposable gloves, hand sanatizer, and hose elbow in a zip lock bag. This makes empting our black and grey tank easy with everything we need handy and keeps it away from our other gear. Note: Our bumper came with a sticker that said not to add items to the bumper. The spair tire was attached by the factory or dealer. We are comfortable with this addition as it does not add much weight. I would not add something like a bike rack.
Items needed: plastic ammo box, YIDU69 6 PCS 4 inch wide square U-Bolts. Note: Our bumper was really close to the back of the camper so, the "U" bolt did not go into the plastic ammo box on the inside. We added a metal piece to deal with this.
One of these could be added to the front of some campers as well. This project was quick and easy. We were able to add 2 boxes on the back without blocking the licence plate or lights. We store light items in them and do not lock them but, could if we were concerned. To attach this get an ammo box a little wider than the 4 inch bumper. Drill holes in the bottom of the box that line up with the bolts when they are on square bumper. This way the nuts will be on the inside of the box so, if you decide to lock the box it will be secure.
